I went to a retreat at an awesome new scrapbook retreat place in Temple, Texas a few weeks ago. It is called the Rockin' R Retreat Center and it is a dream come true for owner, Rena Cotti. There is a sideline link to her site, check it out if you get a chance. She has thought of every detail that could possibly appeal to the scrapbooker and papercrafter. On top of it, she is one of the most sincerely sweet people I have ever met. She is a beautiful person on the inside and out. (I must admit I'm jealous and want hair like hers!! haha) The center is very comfortable and homey with a rustic Texas feel. I felt completely at home the minute I walked in the door. I am co-hosting 2 retreats there in the upcoming future. The first one is September 19-21, 2008.
